Catahoula Brown |

| Catahoula Brown is the old blues spirit inside Canadian musician, Chris Weagle. Catahoula Brown's music has be shaped by such artists as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Hound Dog Taylor. As well as by songs Son House, Skip James and Mississippi John Hurt. His earliest musical influence however came from his father, Cowboy Bob Weagle, who loved to play and sing Hank Snow and Jimmie Rodgers tunes. |

In 2005, Catahoula Brown released his debut CD, Cur Dog Blues. Also in 2005, he brought his 'Original Rural Blues' to the stages of the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival. Along the way he has shared stages with such respected artists as Charlie A'Court, Matt Andersen, John Campbelljohn and Morgan Davis. 2007 brought the release of the much anticipated follow-up CD, Let That Boy Boogie. This CD was nominated for Best Blues Recording by both Music Nova Scotia and The East Coast Music Association. |

Jorden Wentzell |
| Jorden is a fifteen year old New Germany Rural High School student. She has been singing publically since she was 10 years old. She has sung at the South Shore Exhibition, placing first and second. Jorden has also competed in the Annapolis Valley Idol Competition at which she placed first. This year she auditioned for CMT Karaoke Star Jr. and placed fifth in the competition. We would like to welcome Jorden to South Shore in Motion and we know you will enjoy her musical talent. |

| Krystelle Leveque is a local singer/songwriter promoting her debut album, "Take Flight".
With east coast roots and a passion for classic rock, Krystelle brings us a sound that is truly her own. |
| Blending clever lyrics with simple chord progressions and a voice so captivating, she brings a presence to the stage that you do not want to miss. Krystelle has been playing the South Shore circuit for 4 years now and will be accompanied by lead guitarist, Liam Frier. The duo has performed together at the Lahave Folk Festival, Boston Pizza Bridgewater, The Kilted Grillhouse, and The Lunenburg Opera House, to name a few venues, and plan to continue the South Shore circuit this summer with the album in tow! Runaway |
| In 2003, four veterans of the Halifax music scene formed a group dedicated to the classic popular tunes of yesterday, in rock 'n' roll, folk, blues and country. Those four later added two other fine musicians to make up the band Runaway. |
| Performing in the Halifax area and in venues along the South Shore, the group has met with enthusiastic appreciation of its choice of material and its solid three-piece harmonies. |
| Runaway will be performing Saturday night at the Meet 'n Greet. |

Shawn Bent |
| Shawn Bent is a 26 year old singer songwriter who has been calling the South Shore home for the past six years. His blend of folk, rock and blues is a testament to the hardworking lives of Nova Scotian's. Having performed all over the province Shawn is currently working with his band Bently on their first studio album.
