Joey Uhlman I would like to thank all of the participants of the Big Rig portion of this weekend\'s event. We had a great turnout and the weekend turned out to be a huge success. I would also like to thank the \"A\" Team known as Jane and Starlene for there assistance. Without them I could not have done this. Special thanks to the judges, Kirk, Corey and Robbie for a job well done.

A special thanks for the display of new trucks goes to Silver\'s Garage, Bayview Kenworth, MacKay\'s Truck and Trailer and Lockharts Western Star.

Hope to see everyone next year!

Darren Wentzell On behalf of the SSIM, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee members, volunteers, sponsors, participants and spectators for the awesome show we had this year. It was the largest show we have had to date. The show and shine field was spectacular, with well over three hundred vehicles from minis to big rigs. The RMZ cruise and the Meet and Greet were excellent and special thanks to Coastal Cruisers and Darlene and Natasha Zwicker.

The burnouts were great along with the lawn tractor and ATV turnouts.
Although the truck pull was a bit long the number of participants was amazing. The entertainment was first class and although the attendance for those performances was not high, the people that heard them enjoyed them very much. The showing of the film \"Burning Rubber\" was great and this will air in December on Bravo TV. I would like to thank the celebrities for participating in the GoKart races. Also special thanks to Susan Feindel for her exhibit of art work along with all the other exhibitors in the big building. The models and lego displays were awesome.

An added feature this year was the \"Parade of Lights\". This made a perfect end to a perfect day. When you see children leading the parade with their electric cars and 4 wheelers followed by cars and then the big rigs all displaying beautiful lights if brought everything together.
It made my day.

At this time I am looking ahead to next year and there will once again be changes. I never expected to see as many registrants in the field as we had on Sunday. The cars, trucks and big rigs were amazing. Knowing what we know now, the classes will revamped for the next show. During the next few months watch the web site for these changes. Remember we are volunteers and some times it takes a bit of time.

Once again thank you to everyone. Darren Wentzell, Chairperson

Michael Golden If I was to discribe the events at SSIM in one word it would have to be amazing.. Five years ago there was a man with a vision.. That vision was to organize a small automotive show so he and his friends could share their love and pasion for all types of cars with the rest of the comunity.. Well I am very happy to say that from those early years it has evolved to a hudge 3 day action packed event.. There wasn\'t a single minute that there wasn\'t something to do or watch.. With the support of the greatest volunteers and sponsors that your could ever ask for there is no question that next year will be even bigger and better.. I am pround to have been a part of this from day one and without question will do what ever I can to help in the years to come..

On a side note I would like to send congrats to Malcolm on his win in the new race class in the burnout competition.. Over the years we have both dominated our seperate classes this was our first year competeing together and you took it hands down this year.. Be on your game next year as my 2nd place trophy looks out of place along side the others and my wallet is missing that $500.. I\'ll be comeing after you loaded for bear next year

Can\'t wait until next year hope to see everyone there..

Malcolm I just wanted to take a moment and congratulate you on the amazing event that you put on this past weekend. I can imagine the long hours and the amount of work and planning that you went through to make a successful event like this happen. Not everyone has the vision, passion and commitment to see an event this big through from the initial idea to the finish product. It has grown every year since the start and I have been lucky enough to attend each one since the beginning. You should be proud of your accomplishment and good luck with many more. Let me know if there is any way I can help in the future

Spectator Congrats on GREAT car show .Had a great time with lots to see and do .When registering my vehicle the man I talked to asked for feedback .I only have one question -- was there a hotrod truck class , I believe there was a plaque given out best hotrod car .There was numerous old trucks at the show but myself and friends do not recall any class for trucks from earlier years to 50;s , 60\'s to 70\'s etc. Please do not take this as a complaint , please respond to my question or take this email as a recomendation for next years show .I have never attended a show that has as much variety or thing to do as YOURS !!!!!!! AGAIN CONGRATS on a GREAT SHOW

Rod Golden Congratulations to the organizers & volunters for a job well done. The weekend was out of this world!! As the years go by I can see this being as big if not bigger than The Atlantic Nationals. You get a big thank you from our whole family for a great show. This shows what dreams and a great organization can lead to. I don\'t suppose your budget for next year could include 1/4 mile of pavement. Rod
